Tipsters pointed FBI investigators to Christopher Ortiz, of Huntington, earlier this month, advising that there were screenshots from videos and messages posted on his Instagram account, “@chrispy0ats” at the Wednesday, Jan. 6 riot, leading to his arrest early on Wednesday, Jan. 27.

According to court documents, there is audio from his Instagram account when Ortiz can be heard shouting “onward, onward” as rioters flooded the Capitol building with Ortiz later shouting “yeah we’re at the door” as the crowd breached the building.

When asked what he was doing, Ortiz responded on social media by saying he was “participating in government, even going so far as to taunt his potential prosecutors.

"LOL they can come and get me; I didn’t break or vandalize or steal; I walked through and out,” he wrote in a message on social media. "I’d storm the Capitol any day for you,” he later added to his comment.

Ortiz was charged with entering restricted grounds without lawful authority, impeding or disrupting government business, and engaging in disorderly or disruptive conduct at the Capitol. He was expected to make his initial court appearance on Wednesday afternoon.
